Most of the benefits of organic growing are available as soon as you take efforts to increase soil organic matter and increase biological activity in soil. For some growers, that is enough. What is your view, or do you need help with a question.

I feel this only part of the over all picture, we all need to also be long term sustainable, I am involved with a group of like minded farmers who care for their soil. We try to use a softer approach pushing ground covers, soil biology, soil health, food quality in sustainable farming. Feed the soil to feed your crop by applying minerals, compost, calcium etc. Use ground covers to provide humus, carbon, lignin as well as feed the soil. Plant diversity, insectaries an dabove ground habitat for beneficials, predators and parasitoids. SoilCare member, check our web site out.
