Soil Systems Australia has been selected to deliver a series of workshops across Australia. Together with TM Organics, Soil Systems Australia will deliver thirty-six workshops specifically designed for primary producers. The workshops cover the background to climate change, the carbon market, farming strategies that maintain production and sequester carbon, business impacts of climate change and how to value add through marketing. The workshops bring together the latest research and best practice from primary producers from all around the world.
Workshop manual
Workshops provide operators with a manual that includes chapters on managing vegetative cover, use of green manures, cover crops, living mulches, crop rotations, native & improved pastures, managing water resources, monitoring, reporting and understanding the changing organic marketplace.
Cost
The full day workshops starting at 9:00am, will cost $40 for primary producers, including a copy of the OFA Climate Change Manual.
Special discounted package for workshop and 12 months OFA membership at $110 is optional.
