An organic delegation including a Thai Assistant Minister, senior bureaucrats and representatives of the Thai organic industry visited Australia recently.

They toured research establishments in NSW, visited organic farms and met with RIRDC and the Organic Federation of Australia at the Organic Expo in Melbourne. The delegation included members of the Thailand Organic Trade and Development Committee.

The farm gate value of organically produced foods in Thailand is estimated to be more than $230 million.
