This course has been designed to give you a practical understanding of what you need to do to convert a vineyard to organic and or biodynamic operation.
- Factors affecting vineyard design and infrastructure
- Organic and biodynamic techniques for soil fertility, pest and weed management
- Production and handling requirements of organic wine
- Planning for the conversion process
- Business and budget aspects of conversion, organic and biodynamic production
- Certification and compliance, including record keeping and the Organic Management Plan
- Choosing a certifier and managing the certification process
The course is presented by Tim Marshall in conjunction with other TM Organics staff and an experienced organic producer on hand during the day. All participants receive a workbook and further resources.

We will send you booking confirmation, as well as the FarmReady forms that must be filled in and returned to FarmReady, no later than 5 working days prior to the course.
You will then receive confirmation from FarmReady.
After attending the course, you complete the attendance form and submit (along with any claims for childcare and travel) back to FarmReady. If all is in order, then FarmReady will reimburse you.
